LGBTQ representation in films falls again

Thursday 9th July, 2026 GLAAD’s report shows LGBTQ characters in major-studio films dropped for a third year, with fewer roles overall and no transgender characters among 225 films in the US 2025 sample. This gives Lego a chance to talk about inclusive play and representation in family entertainment, especially relevant to parents and kids in the UK and globally.
