Patrice Lawrence named Children’s Laureate

Patrice Lawrence has been appointed the Waterstones Children’s Laureate (2026–28) to promote shared reading, diverse stories and community storytelling across the UK.
This gives Lego a chance to speak about shared storytelling and creative play in the UK, aligning bricks-as-storytelling with initiatives that champion reading and inclusivity.
