UK ISA allowance change (April 2027)
Tuesday 6th April, 2027
From 6 April 2027 the UK is cutting the annual cash ISA subscription limit to £12,000 while keeping the overall ISA allowance at £20,000, shifting savers towards stocks and shares as part of Budget 2025 reforms. This gives Lego’s PR team a timely reason to join conversations about family savings and planning—especially in the UK—because changes to how households allocate cash could influence parental spending choices on kids’ education, hobbies and play products.
Why have we flagged this?
The ISA change directly affects UK household savings choices, giving Lego a credible angle to offer advice on budgeting for kids’ activities, promote value-buying (multi-buy sets, subscription clubs) and share data on play’s role in development as an alternative investment in children’s learning.
