Roblox is launching Build, an AI-powered text-to-3D creation tool entering public alpha in New Zealand on 28 July 2026.
This gives Lego a chance to comment on creativity, play and accessible building tools as Roblox shifts game-making to AI-assisted creation in New Zealand and beyond.
Why have we flagged this?
Lego has a credible, on-brand angle around toys, creativity and digital play—opportunities for collaborative campaigns, cross-platform demos or commentary on kid-friendly creative tools—but Roblox's AI-to-3D tech is a different platform and not an obvious home turf for Lego to lead the conversation globally without a tightly focused execution.
