Chery passenger car production at Nissan Sunderland plant

Nissan and Chinese carmaker Chery have signed a non-binding MoU to explore building Chery passenger cars at Nissan’s Sunderland plant in the UK, though no production date is set yet. This gives Lego’s PR team a chance to comment on manufacturing and jobs in the UK, and tie Lego’s own themes of engineering, local industry and cross-border collaboration into the conversation about supply chains and skills.
