Parks Canada summer fee-free period
Friday 19th June, 2026
Parks Canada is waiving regular entry fees to national parks, national historic sites and marine conservation areas for a summer fee-free period, with reduced overnight rates across sites — this makes it easier for families to visit and explore Canada's outdoor and heritage spaces. This gives Lego’s PR team a chance to talk about creative, educational outdoor play and family experiences in Canada (including UK and international travellers), highlighting how Lego supports imaginative play and learning during accessible national park visits.
Why have we flagged this?
Good fit: fee-free parks encourage family trips and outdoor play, so Lego can run creative picnic/play ideas, park-themed LEGO builds, packing guides or short experiential activations and offer expert comment on play and learning outdoors—credible PR hooks though not an automatic headline-grabber.
