Commonwealth Mile route launched

Thursday 16th July, 2026 Glasgow has opened a public Commonwealth Mile along the River Clyde to mark one week until the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games, inviting locals and visitors to try the mile and join free events. This gives Airbnb a chance to highlight stays near the River Clyde, promote short active itineraries and local experiences for visitors coming to Glasgow for the Games in the UK.
