World Athletics Championships Beijing
Saturday 11th September, 2027
The World Athletics Championships in Beijing is a nine-day global track-and-field event at the National Stadium featuring the world’s top sprinters, distance runners and field athletes and acting as a qualification focus for other major competitions. This gives Airbnb’s PR team a chance to talk about demand for short-term stays and unique local experiences for visiting athletes, support teams and international fans in China, and the role of home-sharing in easing accommodation pressure during major sporting events.
Why have we flagged this?
The championships could lift demand for stays in Beijing, giving you a timely chance to share booking trends and help visitors find places near the events.
