Erasmus+ UK participation (2027)
Friday 1st January, 2027
The UK will formally rejoin the EU’s Erasmus+ programme in 2027, restoring large-scale funding and mobility for students, apprentices and young people to study, work and undertake exchanges across Europe. This gives Airbnb a chance to comment on renewed cross‑border youth travel and accommodation demand in the UK and Europe, and how increased student and exchange mobility could drive bookings for short‑term lets and unique stays starting in 2027.
Why have we flagged this?
The return to Erasmus+ could bring more young people travelling between the UK and Europe, giving you a timely way to share relevant booking trends and accommodation options.
