Singapore Airlines return to Madrid (SIN–BCN–MAD)
Monday 26th October, 2026
Singapore Airlines will restart passenger flights to Madrid via Barcelona five times weekly from late October 2026, restoring a direct link absent since 2004.
This gives Airbnb a chance to comment on renewed long-haul connectivity boosting travel demand and accommodation needs in Spain and the UK/Europe markets.
Why have we flagged this?
Credible travel and demand angle — new long-haul connectivity between Singapore and Madrid via Barcelona creates opportunities for Airbnb to promote stays, curated neighbourhood guides, and host partnerships in both cities, but it’s not an obvious moment to lead the global conversation on its own.
