Scam prevention framework rollout

The UK government is rolling out a Scams Prevention Framework that, from 31 March 2027, will impose mandatory obligations and penalties on designated sectors—banks, telcos and major digital platforms—to prevent, detect, disrupt, respond to and report scams.
