NRL season openers in Las Vegas
Sunday 28th February, 2027
The NRL is staging its 2027 season openers in Las Vegas, with Wests Tigers vs Melbourne Storm and Parramatta Eels vs Gold Coast Titans at Allegiant Stadium — a move that will bring large numbers of Australian fans to the US as part of the league’s deal through 2028. This gives Airbnb a chance to be part of the travel story around Aussies flocking to Las Vegas — think demand for short-term stays, group bookings and local experiences for travelling supporters in the US.
