European Commission ETS review decision on international aviation

The European Commission will publish a mid‑2026 review of how the EU Emissions Trading System applies to international aviation, deciding whether flights to and from non‑EEA countries should be included and assessing the effectiveness of CORSIA; its conclusions could change carbon‑pricing and regulatory costs for flights to and from the EU.
